5.0 Neutral Borosilicate Pharmaceutical Glass Tubing

Neutral borosilicate glass tubing is premium primary pharmaceutical packaging raw material. Featuring low thermal expansion coefficient, outstanding hydrolytic resistance and minimal ion precipitation. It is the ideal substrate for injectable preparations, biotech drugs, vaccines, insulin and sensitive liquid medicines.
Available in Clear (transparent) and Amber (brown) two colours. Amber tubing provides UV shielding to prevent degradation of light-sensitive pharmaceuticals.

Quality Features

1. Uniform wall thickness, consistent outer & inner diameter, stable feeding on automatic forming machines.
2. Smooth inner & outer surfaces; strictly controlled defects: bubbles, stones, knots, scratches, stripes.
3. Fully annealed tubing to eliminate internal stress, resist cracking during forming, autoclaving and sterilization.
4. Excellent thermal shock resistance, withstand repeated high-temperature sterilization cycles.
5. Compatible with ion diffusion marking, screen printing, silanization coating, flame sealing.
6. Stable colour consistency for amber tubing; uniform UV performance batch to batch.
7. Each batch supplied with test certificate of analysis (COA).
